Our Support Group in photos above!

So after committing to being a "runner" I have tried to run couple of 5k's with my friend Anne but ended up being a tard and ditching out. SO I finally ran one with her today!! I was hoping to get under 30min and when I got the "official" results I was SHOCKED to say the least, 27:18!!! YAY!! Anne rocked it with a 25:40 time GO ANNE!
We are glad we had a good cheering section, thanks Zana, Katlyn, Noah, Ewan and Leif!!!!

Better Together

Leif and I saw Jack Johnson last night at Red Rocks and had a great time on our date! Dates are far and few these days so when we get the chance we don't hesitate!
Thanks for the tickets and great date Leif! I love you and for SURE it's always better when we're together!

Kids say the darndest things....

Zana started the 3rd grade this week and one of the class assignments she had was to fill out a personal inventory sheet. There were several inquiries such as Places I have been, things I like,etc.. Well as some of you know my dad is VERY conservative and a big hunter man. Soooo when Leif and I saw Zana's response Things I dislike we laughed until we practically peed our pants.

We laughed then after thinking about it we felt proud that Zana feels passionate about things and is not afraid to speak her mind.

School Days, School Days, Dear Old Golden Rule Days!

Zana and Noah started their first day of school today! Zana is now a big 3rd grader and Noah is in Kindergarten. Noah JUMPED out of bed at 7am and yelled "ZANA IT"S MY FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN WOOOHOO!" Zana said she was excited but a little bit nervous.
They were both pretty cute in their new school clothes! Leif and I had to try hard to keep from crying as they both went back we were not ready for summer to be over.

Baby on the run

After two months of crazy army crawling and carpet swimming Ewan has finally started to crawl! He has been getting up on his hands and knees for awhile now but would always revert back to his carpet swim. Today he got up on his hands and knees and away he went!
We are in trouble now :)!

A night with The Police and...... Elvis!?

Yesterday Leif scored four tickets to see The Police with Elvis Costello at Red Rocks!!! We asked our friends Tyler and Jacque to join us and had such a good time. I remember in my younger years loving The Police and being sad that I would never in my lifetime see them live. I was excited when Sting decided to re-group with The Police and go on tour. I never thought I would get tickets to see them, and never at Red Rocks! So needless to say I was very GITTY yesterday when Leif called with the good news that he scored last minute tickets. My gitty factor when from 10 to 15 when I heard Elvis Costello was opening for them! I will use my '80's lingo to sum it all up............ it was RAD!!!!!

OH, those hot summer days!
