Happy Birthday Ewan and Happy Anniversary Leif

Ewan turned 1 on the 22nd and Leif and I had are 9 year anniversary on the 23rd! We celebrated with a super crazy Gish/Snapp-Cook Griswald type mini vacation. We had a blast and were happy to be with the Gish clan to celebrate both occasions.

Our Driveway is finished!!!

So our driveway is finally complete, after 4 weeks of mud and dirt!! I am sure Leif is not going to be happy about the van being in the pic. but oh well, you get the point of how much nicer it is now.

I've Been Tagged......Here are 6 wild and crazy Quirks!

I have been tagged by my friend Andrea so here they are in all there glory 6 of my QUIRKS...........

1. I hate to hear people chew....it stresses me out if you chew loud!

2. Diet Coke, I will open one and drink it at 7a.m. if I have too. I am not ashamed.

3. Trashy T.V., I can't stop myself. The Hills, America's Best Dance Crew, Rock of Love, oh boy the list goes and on. I also LOVE The Best Week Ever and Chelsy Latley. Once you watch one your HOOKED I tell ya.

4. PIles of Junk! I love my piles and if you try to mess with them I might hurt you. I know where everything is so just LEAVE it alone. I know this makes people crazy but I love them.

5. I can not stand if people do not close cupboards or shut drawers. It drives me insane and I will go behind you and shut them if you do not. This drives Leif crazy but it is almost like unfinished business just take care of it.

6. Finally DIrty floors. I hate when my floors are dirty, I have been known to get up in the middle of night to mop them. The haunt me if I don't.

Seriously, who said owning a house was a good thing??

Leif and I decided it would be a good idea to fix our driveway so no one would break their ankle in our deep craters. We thought it would be done in one weekend, OH NO we are on our third week with no driveway!!!! Hopefully this will be the last weekend without a driveway or walkway. Don't you all just love the makeshift canopy we had to put over the concrete that was poured to keep the rain off!! I love owning a home really I do.......UGH

Super Fun

We went wakeboarding with our friends Jerry and Anne again and had to post these pictures because Jerry and Anne are ROCK STARS! We had so much fun with them the end of this summer boating and "dirt" biking. I can't wait until next summer, we had so much fun boating at the beginning of the summer and the end we decided to buy our own boat! CRAZY....we bought one last Thursday, we hope there are a couple more nice days to go out before we have to winterize it and put it away for the winter.

Ewan has been standing on his own in the middle of the room. We are sure he is going to be walking soon. The funniest was the other night when he tried standing up in the middle of tub, already he is crazier than Noah ever was. Heaven help us! :)

Our first wakeboarding experience

Jerry and Anne took us wakeboarding yesterday and we had a blast! Leif and I both got up on our first try! YAY! Thanks to Jerry and Anne's good advice and Jerry's fantastic boat driving skills. The kids had fun just hanging out on the boat.
