Zana's first Science Fair Project.

Zana decided she wanted to participate in this years Science Fair. Her project was on Crystal Growth. She did a good job and had a super fun time doing it. She is already thinking about what she is going to do next year.

Happy Easter!

We started off the Easter celebration on Saturday with an egg hunt. Later in the evening we colored eggs with our friends the Ellis family. Then on Sunday the Easter bunny came and hid eggs and the kids baskets, we then went to church where the primary kids sang and beautiful song and we listened to some wonderful talks. For dinner we went up to Leif's mom's house where we met up with his Aunt Judy, cousin Jennifer, Jenny's sig. other Carlos, her daughter Fatumata, and cousin Corbin. We had a great dinner and fun Easter egg hunt!

It's a SNOW day

We had one of our big spring storms and Ewan had his first chance to play in it and go sledding. He LOVES to be outside and LOVES the snow! Leif had to drag him in kicking and screaming after about 1 1/2 hours of playing. He is such a cute little guy! And yes he is in Zana's old snow suit! This will probably be a great picture to show his friends later on! :D

Happy Birthday Noah!

Noah turned 6 yes 6!!!! On the 21st of March. We just had a small family celebration and Leif and I made him a snake cake. He loved all his presents and his cake. I just can not believe how fast he is growing up. :(

Yesterday Ewan was happily playing on the couch when his foot got caught he tripped and landed on the fireplace hearth. I took him to the ER where Leif met me and he received six stitches. The Poor guy! He was a fantastic baby in the ER and all the Dr.'s commented on how well he did at letting them check his wound and ears. They did however sedate him for the actual stitching up. He took a LONG time to come out of it and was a sad baby. All in all he did wonderful and we hope we do NOT have to make any more trips to the ER anytime soon! The problem is Ewan is sooooo full of energy and is fearless, I am afraid there well be many more trips to come! :D

Fun Weekend

This weekend my best friend CIndy Palmer flew out with her two foreign exchange students. We had SOOOOOO much fun. Saturday and Sunday was snowboarding all around. I went with them all on Saturday and leif went with them on Sunday. Then Sunday afternoon we all headed up to Red Rocks, it was gorgeous. Monday we hit the mall for Luisa! :) It was a super fun fast weekend! We all enjoyed meeting Rahnan and Luisa and having them stay with us. We hope they come back to visit soon! I already miss Cindy! I miss her lots and lots she is more like a sister than anything! Thanks for coming Cindy, I miss you LOTS!

For Valentine's Day we got a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's and had some friends over and made heart shaped cookies! Earlier in the day we went bowling and Leif took us all to Godiva's to pick out some yummy chocolate. :)
Leif and I celebrated our V-day a week earlier. My friend and I made reservations at a hotel downtown lined up baby sitters and were prepared to surprise the husbands at dinner. Well my friend Anne's husband is a firefighter and before we could surprise them he got a call to do an overtime shift and accepted before we could tell. :( We still had a great time at dinner and the rooms were fabulous! Leif just had to wake up at 5am to take Jerry to the station! We had a good time and the boys were surprised and poor Jerry felt soooo bad! I will have to post some pictures as soon as I get them from Anne! :) (and yes we got 2 different rooms down the hall from one another :0)!
