Baby Shower.

My youngest sister Christine is going to have her first baby any day now! Last month I went out for her baby shower. We had a lot of fun and I have to admit I am a bit jealous of the weight she hasn't gained. My other little sister Angie made her cake. (she should go into business)

Zana turns 9!!

Zana is now a big 9 year old. She is growing up so fast and it is making me so sad. Here are 9 things about Zana.

1. Caring, she genuinely cares about everyone.

2. Aderaline junkie. She loves to rock climb, snowboard, climb trees and now wants to take on wakeboarding. :)

3. Shop-a-holic. I personally LOVE this about her. She loves to go shopping with me and we have so much fun together.

4. Pop star. She loves to sing and sing ALL the time. I love to hear her sing and to be so confident.

5. Wonderful sister. She is a big help with Noah and Ewan I am very thankful for her.

6. Chocolate Connoisseur. She loves her godiva.

7. Missionary in training. She always tells her friends about the church and is ready to invite anyone to come along. ( I wish I was that brave)

8. Beautiful. Each year as her personality blossoms she is more beautiful in my eyes.

9. Forgiving. She is the most forgiving person ever. She forgives her friends after they have been mean to her with out a second thought. She forgives me when I lose my temper. This trait is my favorite, forgiveness is hard and she doesn't even blink an eye to forgive someone if the apologize. I hope this remains easy for her for the rest of her life. :)

Zana's first Science Fair Project.

Zana decided she wanted to participate in this years Science Fair. Her project was on Crystal Growth. She did a good job and had a super fun time doing it. She is already thinking about what she is going to do next year.

Happy Easter!

We started off the Easter celebration on Saturday with an egg hunt. Later in the evening we colored eggs with our friends the Ellis family. Then on Sunday the Easter bunny came and hid eggs and the kids baskets, we then went to church where the primary kids sang and beautiful song and we listened to some wonderful talks. For dinner we went up to Leif's mom's house where we met up with his Aunt Judy, cousin Jennifer, Jenny's sig. other Carlos, her daughter Fatumata, and cousin Corbin. We had a great dinner and fun Easter egg hunt!

It's a SNOW day

We had one of our big spring storms and Ewan had his first chance to play in it and go sledding. He LOVES to be outside and LOVES the snow! Leif had to drag him in kicking and screaming after about 1 1/2 hours of playing. He is such a cute little guy! And yes he is in Zana's old snow suit! This will probably be a great picture to show his friends later on! :D

Happy Birthday Noah!

Noah turned 6 yes 6!!!! On the 21st of March. We just had a small family celebration and Leif and I made him a snake cake. He loved all his presents and his cake. I just can not believe how fast he is growing up. :(

16 months, ER and Stitches OH MY!!!!

Yesterday Ewan was happily playing on the couch when his foot got caught he tripped and landed on the fireplace hearth. I took him to the ER where Leif met me and he received six stitches. The Poor guy! He was a fantastic baby in the ER and all the Dr.'s commented on how well he did at letting them check his wound and ears. They did however sedate him for the actual stitching up. He took a LONG time to come out of it and was a sad baby. All in all he did wonderful and we hope we do NOT have to make any more trips to the ER anytime soon! The problem is Ewan is sooooo full of energy and is fearless, I am afraid there well be many more trips to come! :D
