Our celebration trip.

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary Leif and I decided to go on a short cruise. We left the kids with my parents and flew to San Diego where we departed. We had a really good time except I got really sea sick. So that sucked! We had a great time in Mexico though and happy to say all of our trips will be taken by air now. :)
When we got back to San Diego we spent the day with Leif's brother and his family, now that was all around fun and good!

Trick or Treat Smell My Feet........

The kids had a great Halloween. We started out Friday with two class parties one for Noah and one for Zana and then the next was some good old fashion trick or treating! We took Ewan around to a couple of houses and he was loving it, then Zana decided she wanted to go with a friend instead of us! ( we thought we would always come first) Then Noah and I headed to Highlands Ranch to my friend Anne to her brother's house. We had a great time! The kids got a ton of candy and so did we, we do have a parent tax you know.
By the way Ewan was a masked Dragon. HeI INSISTEDon the maske because Noah had a mask. He is one silly guy. Noah is The Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride and Zana is a Black Cat.

Our Spooktacular Halloween Party.

This year we thought it would be fun to have a Halloween party for families. With the help of some AWESOME friends it was SUPER fun! We had a great turn out. We had a rad scavenger hunt, some fun pinitas and a great craft for the kids. Everyone stayed busy and were good sports with the scavenger hunt as there was a lot of snow.
Thanks to all came and helped and THANKS to Joyce for letting us trash her house!

10 YEARS!!!

On the 23rd Leif and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary! WOWSER. We celebrated by going out to FABULOUS Sushi and then some yummy dessert at the Grand Lux Cafe. He surprised with some pretty flowers and a new band for my wedding ring. :) And then in November we are going on a Cruise to Mexico! YAY, I can't wait.
Leif and I started dating in 1996, we dated for three years and then decided to get married. Three kids, two dogs, three cats, a house all in 10 plus years together! I wonder what the next 10 have in-store for us?? Whatever it is I hope it's as good as the last 10. I LOVE you Leif and I LOVE the life we have together.

Happy 2nd Birthday Ewan!

WOW my littlest one turned 2 on the 22nd. He is such a little joy to have around. He is loving, crazy and keeps us on our toes. He is my little blessing.

I'm crafty! Okay maybe not but I am trying.

This is my new "crafty" project. My mom bought me a sewing machine so I have decided to put it to use. This is my first "real" sewing attempt. It is a bit uneven but with practice and a few sewing lessons I hope to get better and move on to bigger and better things.
*added* a "bag" I made tonight for kicks and giggles. Not bad for my first day of sewing eh?!?!

Flu shots all around........

Today I took all three kids to get their flu shots. Zana went first and didn't even flinch and was shocked that it didn't hurt. Noah went second and flinched a little but said "WOW that wasn't that bad." Ewan was last for fear he would be screaming and we could make a quick get away to distract him. The nurse gave him the shot and Ewan looked as if he was going to start screaming but what came out shocked us ALL! He yelled "YAY" and clapped for himself and then proceeded to give Zana a high five. He never ceases to shock or amaze me. :)
