Happy BIrthday Zana!

Yesterday April 18th my little girl Zana turned 10. This was a happy/sad for me. It seems like yesterday she was my little baby girl and I was anxious for her to crawl, then walk, and talk. Now I am anxious for her NOT to grow up so fast.
Here are 10 things about our Zana we love.

1. She LOVES to be outdoors. Bike riding, climbing trees, crawling in the dirt if it looks fun she's up for it.

2. She loves music!! She is 100% MY girl. ;)

3. She loves church and EVERYTHING about it.

4. She loves to shop and looks amazingly cute in skinny jeans.

5. I love that she likes to try new things, volleyball has been her new thing and she is pretty good!

6. Even though she is almost taller than me she doesn't rub it in........YET. :)

7. She isn't trying to grow up to fast.

8. She is a great big sister and helps me out with the boys a lot.

9. She is still the most forgiving person on EARTH and is quick to do so.

10. She has BIG heart and genuinely loves and cares about everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WE LOVE YOU.

Happy Birthday Noah........

Yesterday was Noah's birthday he turned the big 7. It really seems like yesterday that I was pregnant with him . He was a HUGE baby and was so happy and easy going. He has grown up so fast and I as I am typing this I am getting all teary eyed. Time seems to be moving swiftly along, does anyone know how to slow it down?
His birthday was on Sunday and Leif had to leave on a business trip so we celebrated on Saturday. He wanted to go to IHOP for breakfast so we did, it was pretty tasty. Then we went home and Leif, Zana, Noah and Ewan played outside in the snow and built an igloo then later friends and family came over for presents, cake and ice cream. It was a great day.

Here are 7 things I LOVE about my little Noah.

1. He still bounces EVERY WHERE he goes.

2. He wants to be a snake catcher or dinosaur bone finder when her grows up.

3. He is still his mom's best friend.

4. He is an awesome big brother to Ewan and protector of Zana. Don't hurt her feelings or he will have some words with you.

5. He loves everyone no matter what.

6. He has the most beautiful brown eyes they melt my heart when he smiles at me.

7. He is the most caring wonderful little man who really just wants to make every one happy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH WE LOVE YOU!

Daddy daughter dance.

For activity days they had a stake daddy daughter dance. It was 1950's theme. Zana and Leif had a blast. They looked pretty cute all dressed up. They ate hamburgers and fries, danced, played games and the dad's even gave the girls manicures. What awesome guys! Thanks Leif again for being a great dad to our kids especially to our little girl.

*sorry the pics are blurry and huge. They were taken with my phone. ;)

Another ER visit for us.

The staples. I know gross but had to post. :)

Zana was on the floor watching T.V. when Ewan decided to pick up a 8lb dumbbell and drop it on Zana's head. She was bleeding a ton so we took her to the ER to make sure she was okay. She is okay thank goodness but had 4 staples put in. She was trooper and did not cry or complain.
Thankfully Leif was in the area with a friend so they came home and gave her a blessing before going to the hospital. I am SO thankful for the priesthood and for the gospel!

New Year's Day

Our first day of 2010 was a FANTABULOUS day! I started the day with a 4 mile run and then after we headed up Leif's mom's house where we met the cousins and Jon and family! We had so much fun sledding, then eating good food and more presents and then a family film festival. This year each family made a video about Christmas each video had to have three things in it a black bean, natural fiber and thunder snow. We had a blast making our movie and it was even better watching what everyone else had come up with! WE can't wait for next year's film fest!

2010 ALREADY?!?! Happy New Year!

Leif Running

We had a great New Year's Eve this year. Leif and his friend Chris ran a New Year's Resolution 5k at 6pm at Washington Park in the freezing cold on an ICY path. Andrea and I and our girls went to cheer them on and saw many people who were running fall on the ice so sad and scary! Leif and Chris managed not to fall thank goodness. We then headed to our house for some dinner yummy desserts and some RockBand! We tore it up! We hope to go on tour very SOON LOL! Somehow we managed to stay up until midnight and rang in the New Year with poppers the kids LOVED it!
Thanks Tyus crew for ROCKIN out with us!

The California Snapp-Cook visit

Leif's brother and family came for a visit after Christmas for a week and we had a blast hanging our with them. We are glad they came for a visit and that we got to spend so much time with them.

Christmas 2009

We had a very relaxing quiet Christmas here at the Snapp-Cook home. My parents were suppose to be here but my mom ended up getting very sick and they had to cancel their plans. :( Leif's mom however was able to stay the night with us and enjoy our relaxing morning. The kids were spoiled to say the least.
Later in the day Leif's Aunt Judy joined us for a yummy Christmas dinner. We are so thankful we have been blessed we great family and friends and that we were able to have a really nice Christmas.
